Met a friend after work and felt a little peckish so we order the lamb and naan. Was surprised at how tasty and flavourful the lamb dish was. Despite not being very hungry we still wiped the plate clean.

We recently ate at this restaurant and had the burger with fries. It was absolutely delicious and tasted fantastic. We were also particularly impressed with the service; it was very friendly and attentive. We felt completely at ease and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed the customisable pasta option! Personally I chose to get the fusilini with tomato sauce and beef cubes. Their cheese fries and truffle spaghetti tastes really good too!

The fish and chips were perfectly done. crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with a light, non-greasy batter. The turkey bacon carbonara was rich and creamy, well-balanced, and full of flavor without being overpowering. The buffalo wings were a highlight, juicy, crispy, and coated in just the right amount of tangy heat.
To finish, the baklava was an excellent dessert: sweet, nutty, and layered beautifully without being overly sugary.
Great food, generous portions, and a menu that delivers on both comfort and quality. Definitely a place I’d return to and recommend to others 🤩🤩

We were served by Suzy. She was so warm & attentive. We had their famous Wagyu beef burger and char grilled chicken. The burger was 4.5/5!
The chicken was good too though I'm not a fan of bbq sauce.
We also had the forest mushroom soup which made upon order from scratch. Very good !

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience here. We started with the mushroom soup and onion soup, both were rich and flavourful, along with the spicy top shell and satay, which were excellent starters. For our mains, we had the spicy seafood pasta and baked fish, both cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
Raina provided outstanding service from the start, she recommended great dishes and checked in to make sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The chef even came out to greet us personally and surprised us with dessert on the house, which was such a lovely gesture.
Overall, it was a truly pleasant dining experience, and we’ll definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family!

Good food, a decent selection, good, quick, and very friendly service; as we could see, it's family-run. The ambiance is nice, but it could be made a bit cozier and more unique to better stand out from the less appealing surroundings. We hesitated at first because it didn't look very inviting, but we were glad we chose it. The food was also excellent. So, a tip for the owners: make it a bit more special, cozier without neon lights—we tourists like that 😉 😉

I visited J Bistro on 15 August and had such a wonderful dining experience! The chicken fried, nasi lemak, and satay were all delicious, but what really stood out was the dessert made with honey, perfectly balanced, and the sweetest way to end the meal.
The service was truly amazing. A big thank you to Lemon and Suzy 🫶🏻 they were so friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcomed. Their cheerful attitude and kind service made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

J Bistro was a hidden gem I was lucky to find on my recent trip to Singapore. The modern décor and airy atmosphere set the mood from the moment I walked in. They have a place to relax outdoors that offer views of Singapore’s streets and also have indoor seating with gentle lighting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing experience.
The staff were incredibly generous with their service and were extremely friendly which was something I appreciated a lot! They helped me choose what to order and thanks to that I chose to order various different dishes. The first one I ordered was the Forest Mushroom Veloute and this dish had a distinct mushroom flavor which tasted amazing with the garlic bread that came on the side.
The next dish I had was their best seller Wagyu Beef Burger. The Wagyu beef was incredibly fatty and juicy and carried all the flavors wonderfully. Served alongside the burger were their fries which had a crispy texture with a silky feeling from the inside and I honestly could’ve ate 3 more servings of the fries alone!
The next dish I had was their Fish and Chips. Paired with their fries and tartar sauce, The light batter of the fish wasn’t overly greasy which made it enjoyable. It was the perfect greasy evening meal. The last dish that I had was my favorite next to the Wagyu Burger. The Laksa Prawn Linguini was the perfect comfort dish in my eyes. The creaminess of the coconut cream and the taste that was blended in was absolutely perfect, I just couldn’t stop myself from eating. It would’ve been even better if I had some limes to go with it.
After lunch I ordered a couple of desserts. The first one that I got was the Pistachio Kunefe with Syrup and the original Turkish flavors of the dessert really came through in this dish. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet but definitely satisfied all my sweet cravings in one go. After the Kunefe I had their Baklava Plate which included walnut and pistachio baklavas. They had a great portion and it was hard for me to finish it by myself so this would make the perfect dish for 2 people to share! They also serve a variety of Turkish ice cream for you to pick from if you’re just looking for a simple yet delicious treat.
Overall, my experience at J Bistro was incredible. I had a wonderful time and I could definitely tell how passionate they were about their project from the flavors they were delivering in their food and the service they provided! The airy, contemporary décor and relaxed atmosphere set the mood from the moment I walked in. You can relax at their quaint outdoor tables with views of Singapore's streets or choose comfortable indoor seats with gentle lighting, making it the ideal place for a laid-back evening.
J-Bistro's light-modern decor, laid-back vibe, and casual music selection skillfully combine a comfortable lounge with a modern social environment. You can relax there by yourself, catch up with friends, or have a relaxed date night.
The staff was really friendly and courteous; they helped me navigate and clarify their menu, which greatly simplified my decision-making process. I started by trying their Forest Mushroom Veloute out of all the different dishes I had chosen. The soup's distinct flavor, which preserved all of the mushrooms, came from its creamy texture, which was achieved by using only mushrooms and no flour. Every bite was amazing because of the combination of the mushroom taste and the garlic bread, which was simultaneously soft and crispy. Immediately following the soup, I tried the Lombok Chicken Satay, which was prepared in their KOPA oven, giving it a wonderful smoky taste and tenderness. When paired with the accompanying peanut sauce, the meal turned into the ideal appetizer to start off your day with!

I tried the fish and chips as my next meal. I've tried a variety of fish and chip recipes, each with a special touch. One of the most authentic-tasting ones I've had so far has to be J bistros Fish & Chips. Together with their fries and tartar sauce, the light, airy batter that isn't overly greasy makes it simpler to eat. It's the ideal greasy evening meal. This next and final dish was my favorite alongside the Wagyu Beef Burger I tried previously. The subtle saltiness from the cheese and the sweetness from the syrup and pistachios blended together flawlessly. Their Baklava Plate, which had walnut and pistachio baklavas, was the final dish I ate. This recipe is ideal for people who wish to satisfy their sweet cravings without having too much sugar. These baklavas, which come directly from Turkey, have the classic baklava flavor while also satisfying the needs of those who cannot tolerate very sweet foods. In this case, the taste of the walnuts and pistachios was even more noticeable, which added a special touch that made the dish quite pleasant. For those seeking a quick and easy treat, they also serve a variety of Turkish ice cream which can be the perfect thing to enjoy especially on a hot day. Special mention for their Singapore Sling as well! Overall, I would highly recommend this eatery when you’re in SG!

Pistachio Kunefe with syrup on the side was the first dessert I tried out of the two I ordered. All of my sweet needs were fully satisfied by this one dish once I poured all of the syrup on top. The subtle saltiness from the cheese and the sweetness from the syrup and pistachios blended together flawlessly. Their Baklava Plate, which had walnut and pistachio baklavas, was the final dish I ate. This recipe is ideal for people who wish to satisfy their sweet cravings without having too much sugar. These baklavas, which come directly from Turkey, have the classic baklava flavor while also satisfying the needs of those who cannot tolerate very sweet foods. In this case, the taste of the walnuts and pistachios was even more noticeable, which added a special touch that made the dish quite pleasant. For those seeking a quick and easy treat, they also serve a variety of Turkish ice cream which can be the perfect thing to enjoy especially on a hot day. Special mention for their Singapore Sling as well! Overall, I would highly recommend this eatery when you’re in SG!

Went again to J Bistro last Saturday, after my last outing a week ago, I just could not get their food off my mind and told myself that I must go there again to satisfy the craving.
This time, I decided to go for the Black Angus Ribeye Steak. Started off once again with the Cream of Mushroom Soup, just can't go past this to try their other soups yet, it is just so good I can't start off the meal without it. And I definitely have no regrets, it is just so, so amazingly good.
I ordered the Black Angus Ribeye rare and it came done perfectly to my liking. The Ribeye was very tender and it paired off very well with the Black Pepper Sauce which has a unique tangy taste to it. And the glorious mash potato that accomplished the steak was to say the least, heavenly. All in, I will give this dish a perfect 10.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. My family sat indoors and the ambience was pleasant. We had a mix of western and Indian cuisine, which were all very tasty. Best of all, the beers were cold and fresh. Not forgetting, the staff were very attentive and courteous. We'll definitely be going back. Wonderful restaurant.

Awesome place to eat. Had a Singapore sling and wagyu beef burger which was delicious. We saw on advertisement in a flight catalogue and thought we would try it out. Servers were excellent and professional. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you come to Singapore.

Went for dinner , after heavy rain. It's rt next to our hotel (vagabond). Very friendly sweet staff, ordered their lamb chops 4pc with vege (good choice as fries would've masked over quality of meat) n Guiness. Food is excellent. Lamb chops are tender juicy. Done just nice to perfection paired with roasted vege. Guinness cold n smooth fresh fm tap. My hubby ordered wagyu burger tasted excellent. Kudos to Kelly (young Chinese server). She gave us 2pc balaclava as birthday treat for me. So sweet 😋 💖 💓 absolutely recommend to try out their food and drinks. Environment excellent with soft music. And friendly service.Relax chill. Turns out the worry was misplaced as the family was happy with the taste and portions of the meals. The steak, pastas and side dishes were delicious and well presented. Kudos to the restaurant for keeping up the good job despite a slow Saturday evening. We almost had the whole restaurant to ourselves and truly enjoyed the experience!
Pasta bolognese. I seldom like bolognese as most places have an overwhelming tomato paste taste which I don’t quite favour. This bolognese was really well executed, nicely balanced and served with generous fresh cherry tomatoes. 👍
Best dish was the mushroom alio oglio. Only problem was the added bacon was tough.

Was finding a place to eat for lunch around the area on Google and came across this restaurant. Decided to try it out and I was not disappointed at all. A hidden gem! Read good reviews and decided to check it out. The food was really good! The taste was on-point. Portion was huge and price reasonable. The service crews were very polite too. Nice place to wind down with good food and drink after a day of hard work.

Got to know J Bistro from a friend and, since we were in the area, we decided to swing by and give it a try. The food and service were awesome, with friendly staff and great recommendations by the gentleman behind the bar counter.
I was curious about the menu, which offered a variety of cuisines including Indonesian, Western, Indian, and Turkish desserts. What should we eat? There were three of us, so we decided to share and try a bit of everything.
My friend had already decided on the Camembert Cheese Cubes – they were super yummy and not overly cheesy. A perfect start to our meal.
I opted for the Lombok Chicken Satay. It was amazing! I loved the way it was char-grilled, and the satay sauce was so delicious that I cleaned up the plate – not a drop was left. The sauce was smooth like peanut butter.
For the mains, we decided to try the Turkey Bacon Carbonara. Normally, I’m not a fan of carbonara because it can feel heavy, but today I liked it. There was a generous amount of turkey bacon bites, and they were so crispy.
We had heard they serve good steak, so we decided to try The Gentlemen’s Cut – a 380g Angus Ribeye, cooked medium. Verdict: perfect for me. 👌🏻

Had the chargrill chicken and olive crusted oven baked fish upon recommendation by the waitress. Both dishes did not disappoint..there was a nice smokiness to the chicken and the fish was fresh. Both dishes came with roasted veggies as well.

The vibe wasn't good when we arrived; at 7 pm on a Saturday there was just one table occupied. Perhaps, it's a drinking place where the crowd will come in later.
Now the food, the sole purpose of our visit. The French Onion soup was burning hot and the forest of mushroom soup was decent and had the fragrance and correct temperature. The wagyu burger was decent. The ribeye was objectionable. It was supposed to be charcoal grilled in their Kopa oven. But the meat looked more like being blanched and then tossed in the grill for burnt lines. Medium rare was served as medium well. Any decent chef worth his fire would not have allowed it to be served.
I usually do not confront the chef or server. I am out for a dinner and plan to keep the pleasantries of the evening. But I need to write this review and hope that the bistro improves. You can't charge your customers $34.80 for that piece of 200 g ribeye that I had. I am sure your chef can do better.

another day of celebration, was thinking to try something new. came here for its keto burger, wondering how it would be - its indeed like a burger without the bread. ordered the Buffalo wings, it's too spicy for me. Squid, a bit of surprise, quite good. The place is more for beer or wine, chilling with friends.

We were served by Suzy. She was so warm & attentive. We had their famous Wagyu beef burger and char grilled chicken. The burger was 4.5/5!
The chicken was good too though I'm not a fan of bbq sauce.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience here. We started with the mushroom soup and onion soup, both were rich and flavourful, along with the spicy top shell and satay, which were excellent starters. For our mains, we had the spicy seafood pasta and baked fish, both cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
Raina provided outstanding service from the start, she recommended great dishes and checked in to make sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The chef even came out to greet us personally and surprised us with dessert on the house, which was such a lovely gesture.
Overall, it was a truly pleasant dining experience, and we’ll definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family!

Good food, a decent selection, good, quick, and very friendly service; as we could see, it's family-run. The ambiance is nice, but it could be made a bit cozier and more unique to better stand out from the less appealing surroundings. We hesitated at first because it didn't look very inviting, but we were glad we chose it. The food was also excellent. So, a tip for the owners: make it a bit more special, cozier without neon lights—we tourists like that 😉 😉

J Bistro was a hidden gem I was lucky to find on my recent trip to Singapore. The modern décor and airy atmosphere set the mood from the moment I walked in. They have a place to relax outdoors that offer views of Singapore’s streets and also have indoor seating with gentle lighting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing experience.
The staff were incredibly generous with their service and were extremely friendly which was something I appreciated a lot! They helped me choose what to order and thanks to that I chose to order various different dishes. The first one I ordered was the Forest Mushroom Veloute and this dish had a distinct mushroom flavor which tasted amazing with the garlic bread that came on the side.
The next dish I had was their best seller Wagyu Beef Burger. The Wagyu beef was incredibly fatty and juicy and carried all the flavors wonderfully. Served alongside the burger were their fries which had a crispy texture with a silky feeling from the inside and I honestly could’ve ate 3 more servings of the fries alone!
The next dish I had was their Fish and Chips. Paired with their fries and tartar sauce, The light batter of the fish wasn’t overly greasy which made it enjoyable. It was the perfect greasy evening meal. The last dish that I had was my favorite next to the Wagyu Burger. The Laksa Prawn Linguini was the perfect comfort dish in my eyes. The creaminess of the coconut cream and the taste that was blended in was absolutely perfect, I just couldn’t stop myself from eating. It would’ve been even better if I had some limes to go with it.
After lunch I ordered a couple of desserts. The first one that I got was the Pistachio Kunefe with Syrup and the original Turkish flavors of the dessert really came through in this dish. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet but definitely satisfied all my sweet cravings in one go. After the Kunefe I had their Baklava Plate which included walnut and pistachio baklavas. They had a great portion and it was hard for me to finish it by myself so this would make the perfect dish for 2 people to share! They also serve a variety of Turkish ice cream for you to pick from if you’re just looking for a simple yet delicious treat.
Overall, my experience at J Bistro was incredible. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet but definitely satisfied all my sweet cravings in one go. After the Kunefe I had their Baklava Plate which included walnut and pistachio baklavas. They had a great portion and it was hard for me to finish it by myself so this would make the perfect dish for 2 people to share! They also serve a variety of Turkish ice cream for you to pick from if you’re just looking for a simple yet delicious treat.
Overall, my experience at J Bistro was incredible. I had a wonderful time and I could definitely tell how passionate they were about their project from the flavors they were delivering in their food and the service they provided! I can definitely see myself coming back the next time I visit Singapore.

Went again to J Bistro last Saturday, after my last outing a week ago, I just could not get their food off my mind and told myself that I must go there again to satisfy the craving.
This time, I decided to go for the Black Angus Ribeye Steak. Started off once again with the Cream of Mushroom Soup, just can't go past this to try their other soups yet, it is just so good I can't start off the meal without it. And I definitely have no regrets, it is just so, so amazingly good.
I ordered the Black Angus Ribeye rare and it came done perfectly to my liking. The Ribeye was very tender and it paired off very well with the Black Pepper Sauce which has a unique tangy taste to it. And the glorious mash potato that accomplished the steak was to say the least, heavenly. All in, I will give this dish a perfect 10.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. My family sat indoors and the ambience was pleasant. We had a mix of western and Indian cuisine, which were all very tasty. Best of all, the beers were cold and fresh. Not forgetting, the staff were very attentive and courteous. We'll definitely be going back. Wonderful restaurant.

Awesome place to eat. Had a Singapore sling and wagyu beef burger which was delicious. We saw on advertisement in a flight catalogue and thought we would try it out. Servers were excellent and professional. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you come to Singapore.

Went for dinner , after heavy rain. It's rt next to our hotel (vagabond). Very friendly sweet staff, ordered their lamb chops 4pc with vege (good choice as fries would've masked over quality of meat) n Guiness. Food is excellent. Lamb chops are tender juicy. Done just nice to perfection paired with roasted vege. Guinness cold n smooth fresh fm tap. My hubby ordered wagyu burger tasted excellent. Kudos to Kelly (young Chinese server). We had trouble finding the place initially as it was hidden behind renovation covers. Place was rather empty when we arrived and I was a little worried since there was only one other table.
Turns out the worry was misplaced as the family was happy with the taste and portions of the meals. The steak, pastas and side dishes were delicious and well presented. Kudos to the restaurant for keeping up the good job despite a slow Saturday evening. We almost had the whole restaurant to ourselves and truly enjoyed the experience!
Pasta bolognese. I seldom like bolognese as most places have an overwhelming tomato paste taste which I don’t quite favour. This bolognese was really well executed, nicely balanced and served with generous fresh cherry tomatoes. 👍
Best dish was the mushroom alio oglio. Only problem was the added bacon was tough.

Best Kunafe I ever had , highly recommended. The creamy spinach and mushroom soup were fantastic too. Thanks for the satay as the chef knew that we were celebrating wedding anniversary.

Chanced upon this place while fixing my bike. Really nice place to chill with friends or sit down and focus on work. Service staffs are also very proactive and nice. Highly recommended.

Was finding a place to eat for lunch around the area on Google and came across this restaurant. Decided to try it out and I was not disappointed at all. Ordered the wagyu beef burger as my main and when I saw the burger in front of me, I was salivating. It was extremely scrumptious. The kunafe was delicious too! 🤤 The staff were also polite and nice to talk to. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely love this little gem of a bar and restaurant. Perfectly situated near Little India, close to other fine attractions and in a beautiful location. Excellent food, drinks, and service. Great happy hour pricing. Pub snacks so tasty! Jojo, Aisha, Angella, Evie, and Kylie guarantee your visit will be memorable. J Bistro is a gem hidden in a very unique district of Singapore straddled between Kampung Glam and Little India. With this unique location, it is poised to attract locals and tourists alike. With their great western fusion cuisine, an evening here will never have a dull moment. The food is exotic and authentic to say the least, the staffs are very attentive too. A hidden gem! Read good reviews and decided to check it out. The food was really good! The taste was on-point. Portion was huge and price reasonable. The service crews were very polite too. Nice place to wind down with good food and drink after a day of hard work.

Got to know J Bistro from a friend and, since we were in the area, we decided to swing by and give it a try. The food and service were awesome, with friendly staff and great recommendations by the gentleman behind the bar counter.
I was curious about the menu, which offered a variety of cuisines including Indonesian, Western, Indian, and Turkish desserts. What should we eat? There were three of us, so we decided to share and try a bit of everything.
My friend had already decided on the Camembert Cheese Cubes – they were super yummy and not overly cheesy. A perfect start to our meal.
I opted for the Lombok Chicken Satay. It was amazing! I loved the way it was char-grilled, and the satay sauce was so delicious that I cleaned up the plate – not a drop was left. The sauce was smooth like peanut butter.

Had the chargrill chicken and olive crusted oven baked fish upon recommendation by the waitress. Both dishes did not disappoint..there was a nice smokiness to the chicken and the fish was fresh. Both dishes came with roasted veggies as well.

You can't charge your customers $34.80 for that piece of 200 g ribeye that I had. I am sure your chef can do better.

another day of celebration, was thinking to try something new. came here for its keto burger, wondering how it would be - its indeed like a burger without the bread. ordered the Buffalo wings, it's too spicy for me. Squid, a bit of surprise, quite good. The place is more for beer or wine, chilling with friends.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience here. We started with the mushroom soup and onion soup, both were rich and flavourful, along with the spicy top shell and satay, which were excellent starters. For our mains, we had the spicy seafood pasta and baked fish, both cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
Raina provided outstanding service from the start, she recommended great dishes and checked in to make sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The chef even came out to greet us personally and surprised us with dessert on the house, which was such a lovely gesture.
Overall, it was a truly pleasant dining experience, and we’ll definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family!

Good food, a decent selection, good, quick, and very friendly service; as we could see, it's family-run. The ambiance is nice, but it could be made a bit cozier and more unique to better stand out from the less appealing surroundings. We hesitated at first because it didn't look very inviting, but we were glad we chose it. The food was also excellent. So, a tip for the owners: make it a bit more special, cozier without neon lights—we tourists like that 😉 😉

I visited J Bistro on 15 August and had such a wonderful dining experience! The chicken fried, nasi lemak, and satay were all delicious, but what really stood out was the dessert made with honey, perfectly balanced, and the sweetest way to end the meal.
The service was truly amazing. A big thank you to Lemon and Suzy 🫶🏻 they were so friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcomed. Their cheerful attitude and kind service made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

J Bistro was a hidden gem I was lucky to find on my recent trip to Singapore. The modern décor and airy atmosphere set the mood from the moment I walked in. They have a place to relax outdoors that offer views of Singapore’s streets and also have indoor seating with gentle lighting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing experience.
The staff were incredibly generous with their service and were extremely friendly which was something I appreciated a lot! They helped me choose what to order and thanks to that I chose to order various different dishes. The first one I ordered was the Forest Mushroom Veloute and this dish had a distinct mushroom flavor which tasted amazing with the garlic bread that came on the side.
The next dish I had was their best seller Wagyu Beef Burger. The Wagyu beef was incredibly fatty and juicy and carried all the flavors wonderfully. Served alongside the burger were their fries which had a crispy texture with a silky feeling from the inside and I honestly could’ve ate 3 more servings of the fries alone!
The next dish I had was their Fish and Chips. Paired with their fries and tartar sauce, The light batter of the fish wasn’t overly greasy which made it enjoyable. It was the perfect greasy evening meal. The last dish that I had was my favorite next to the Wagyu Burger. The Laksa Prawn Linguini was the perfect comfort dish in my eyes. The creaminess of the coconut cream and the taste that was blended in was absolutely perfect, I just couldn’t stop myself from eating. It would’ve been even better if I had some limes to go with it.
After lunch I ordered a couple of desserts. The first one that I got was the Pistachio Kunefe with Syrup and the original Turkish flavors of the dessert really came through in this dish. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet but definitely satisfied all my sweet cravings in one go. After the Kunefe I had their Baklava Plate which included walnut and pistachio baklavas. They had a great portion and it was hard for me to finish it by myself so this would make the perfect dish for 2 people to share! Overall, my experience at J Bistro was incredible. I had a wonderful time and I could definitely tell how passionate they were about their project from the flavors they were delivering in their food and the service they provided! We ordered fish n chips - good batter, no fishy taste/smell, damn sedap crispy fries, and good homemade coleslaw tho it’s a tad too creamy for my liking. And it’s freshly made too.
We also ordered the 4 types of mushroom soup - their specialty. It comes with 4pcs garlic bread. Both are equally so delicious and complement each other. Harmonious.

The staff was really friendly and courteous; they helped me navigate and clarify their menu, which greatly simplified my decision-making process. I started by trying their Forest Mushroom Veloute out of all the different dishes I had chosen. The soup's distinct flavor, which preserved all of the mushrooms, came from its creamy texture, which was achieved by using only mushrooms and no flour. Every bite was amazing because of the combination of the mushroom taste and the garlic bread, which was simultaneously soft and crispy. 1st time here. Weekday lunch, so don't worry about reservation. The restaurant is almost empty. I guess it's a dinner crowd bistro.
The service was great, the menu price was on a slight high however the food is great. Really recommend the Turkish or European fusion menu. The Indian stuff is better off eating at little India. Overall, plus drinks & tax, be ready to spend between $30 to $40 depending on the main course your order. Anyway, they do have some lunch specials at a pretty affordable price, but I ordered from the main menu.

Went again to J Bistro last Saturday, after my last outing a week ago, I just could not get their food off my mind and told myself that I must go there again to satisfy the craving.
This time, I decided to go for the Black Angus Ribeye Steak. Started off once again with the Cream of Mushroom Soup, just can't go past this to try their other soups yet, it is just so good I can't start off the meal without it. And I definitely have no regrets, it is just so, so amazingly good.
I ordered the Black Angus Ribeye rare and it came done perfectly to my liking. The Ribeye was very tender and it paired off very well with the Black Pepper Sauce which has a unique tangy taste to it. And the glorious mash potato that accomplished the steak was to say the least, heavenly. All in, I will give this dish a perfect 10.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. My family sat indoors and the ambience was pleasant. We had a mix of western and Indian cuisine, which were all very tasty. Best of all, the beers were cold and fresh. Not forgetting, the staff were very attentive and courteous. We'll definitely be going back. Wonderful restaurant.

Awesome place to eat. Had a Singapore sling and wagyu beef burger which was delicious. We saw on advertisement in a flight catalogue and thought we would try it out. Servers were excellent and professional. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you come to Singapore.

Truly a hidden gem in the area of Jalan Besar. Great wines and amazing menu.
I exceptionally adore their mushroom cream and Truffle pasta. You can taste the quality of their ingredients and the love of the chef.
Vibes are nice and comfortable with a spacious dining area and warm lighting.

Went for dinner , after heavy rain. It's rt next to our hotel (vagabond). Very friendly sweet staff, ordered their lamb chops 4pc with vege (good choice as fries would've masked over quality of meat) n Guiness. Food is excellent. Lamb chops are tender juicy. Done just nice to perfection paired with roasted vege. Guinness cold n smooth fresh fm tap. My hubby ordered wagyu burger tasted excellent. Kudos to Kelly (young Chinese server). She gave us 2pc balaclava as birthday treat for me. So sweet 😋 💖 💓 absolutely recommend to try out their food and drinks. Environment excellent with soft music. And friendly service.Relax chill. Perfect vibe. 👌

Brought the family out for a weekend dinner. Read good reviews about this place and decided to try.
We had trouble finding the place initially as it was hidden behind renovation covers. Place was rather empty when we arrived and I was a little worried since there was only one other table.
Turns out the worry was misplaced as the family was happy with the taste and portions of the meals. The steak, pastas and side dishes were delicious and well presented. Kudos to the restaurant for keeping up the good job despite a slow Saturday evening. We almost had the whole restaurant to ourselves and truly enjoyed the experience!
Pasta bolognese. I seldom like bolognese as most places have an overwhelming tomato paste taste which I don’t quite favour. This bolognese was really well executed, nicely balanced and served with generous fresh cherry tomatoes. 👍
Best dish was the mushroom alio oglio. Only problem was the added bacon was tough.

Best Kunafe I ever had , highly recommended. The creamy spinach and mushroom soup were fantastic too. Thanks for the satay as the chef knew that we were celebrating wedding anniversary.

Chanced upon this place while fixing my bike. Really nice place to chill with friends or sit down and focus on work. Service staffs are also very proactive and nice. Highly recommended.

Was finding a place to eat for lunch around the area on Google and came across this restaurant. Decided to try it out and I was not disappointed at all. Ordered the wagyu beef burger as my main and when I saw the burger in front of me, I was salivating. It was extremely scrumptious. The kunafe was delicious too! 🤤 The staff were also polite and nice to talk to. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely love this little gem of a bar and restaurant. Perfectly situated near Little India, close to other fine attractions and in a beautiful location. Excellent food, drinks, and service. Great happy hour pricing. Pub snacks so tasty! Jojo, Aisha, Angella, Evie, and Kylie guarantee your visit will be memorable. J Bistro is a gem hidden in a very unique district of Singapore straddled between Kampung Glam and Little India. With this unique location, it is poised to attract locals and tourists alike. With their great western fusion cuisine, an evening here will never have a dull moment. The food is exotic and authentic to say the least, the staffs are very attentive too. Got to know J Bistro from a friend and, since we were in the area, we decided to swing by and give it a try. The food and service were awesome, with friendly staff and great recommendations by the gentleman behind the bar counter.
I was curious about the menu, which offered a variety of cuisines including Indonesian, Western, Indian, and Turkish desserts. What should we eat? There were three of us, so we decided to share and try a bit of everything.
My friend had already decided on the Camembert Cheese Cubes – they were super yummy and not overly cheesy. A perfect start to our meal.
I opted for the Lombok Chicken Satay. It was amazing! I loved the way it was char-grilled, and the satay sauce was so delicious that I cleaned up the plate – not a drop was left. The sauce was smooth like peanut butter.
For the mains, we decided to try the Turkey Bacon Carbonara. Normally, I’m not a fan of carbonara because it can feel heavy, but today I liked it. There was a generous amount of turkey bacon bites, and they were so crispy.
We had heard they serve good steak, so we decided to try The Gentlemen’s Cut – a 380g Angus Ribeye, cooked medium. Verdict: perfect for me. 👌🏻
We are definitely going back to try the chargrilled Angus Tomahawk!

Had the chargrill chicken and olive crusted oven baked fish upon recommendation by the waitress. Both dishes did not disappoint..there was a nice smokiness to the chicken and the fish was fresh. Both dishes came with roasted veggies as well.

I hardly write reviews these days. Partly it is pointless. Do the reviews have any merit? Do bad reviews cause any damage to the outlets being reviewed? Do good reviews bring any advantage to the outlets? More likely they have negative repercussions.

The wagyu burger was decent. The ribeye was objectionable. It was supposed to be charcoal grilled in their Kopa oven. But the meat looked more like being blanched and then tossed in the grill for burnt lines. Medium rare was served as medium well. Any decent chef worth his fire would not have allowed it to be served.
I usually do not confront the chef or server. I am out for a dinner and plan to keep the pleasantries of the evening. But I need to write this review and hope that the bistro improves. You can't charge your customers $34.80 for that piece of 200 g ribeye that I had. I am sure your chef can do better.

another day of celebration, was thinking to try something new. came here for its keto burger, wondering how it would be - its indeed like a burger without the bread. ordered the Buffalo wings, it's too spicy for me. Squid, a bit of surprise, quite good. The place is more for beer or wine, chilling with friends.
